Rew

Meet Rew (AKA Mariam ElReweny), our Cairo-based artist building a name for herself with her gorgeous modern portraits. Her work – spanning, digital illustrations, art direction and Google Doodles – is borne from her background in oil painting, and love for the classical masters, like Botticelli and Rembrandt. She often depicts characters in interesting garments, in her self-described style of ‘unrealistic reality,’ inspired by the craftsmanship of great fashion designers.
