Allow us to introduce the newest member of The Different Folk community: Rommy González.
From Chile to Berlin, with stops in New York and Barcelona, Rommy has travelled the world honing her craft.
A visual artist with a flair for the fantastical, she takes inspiration from the natural world, imbuing flora and fauna with a positively dream-like aura.
Delicate but defined, Rommy’s work is characterised by bright colours and curved detail, with pieces appearing to undulate beneath one’s gaze.
From illustration, video and surface design to painting, performances and public art, Rommy’s work beautifully captures the convergence between art and science – offering the audience a snapshot into a truly unique world.
